LPR reinforces the team “Road Arrow”

Laboratory for Polymer Research (LPR) and the first Serbian Formula Student team began working closely on improving the performance of the racing car Road Arrow. Members of the Project Road Arrow are students of the University of Belgrade. Each year they produce a vehicle that represents their University and country all around the world.

LPR is engaged in 2 important projects related to the “Road Arrow”:

  • Creating innovative one-component and two-component adhesives for bonding metal-plastic, metal-metal and plastic-plastic.
  • Improvement of the materials for steering wheel and other plastic parts of the racing car.

Final year students of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, who secretly share a love for fast cars, are included in these projects.

  • Dragana Borjan
  • Sofija Arsić
  • Jovana Savić
  • Nikola Pavlović
  • Đorđe Međedović
  • Milan Popović

This group of students will contribute to the design and manufacture of the Serbian race car prototipe for non-professional runners. With their help the team Road Arrow will achieve its goal – to create a car that would be easy to operate, reliable, fast, with attractive design and a satisfactory price / quality ratio. In building the car, already existing materials, parts and tools are userd, but the emphasis is on improvement of current solutions and innovations, in which our students are certainly not lacking.
